1) Prijedete skutecne? A zucastnite se po celou dobu nebo planujete
zucastnit se jen casti skoly?

2) Vezmete sebou poster? Byli bychom
radi, kdyby ano, posterova sekce je vzdy velmi ziva soucast skoly.
Pokud ano, poslete nam prosim nazev posteru, radi bychom ho zaradili
do programu. Pro postery budou k dispozici stojany o velikosti 120 x
150 cm.

3) Prosime vas o zaplaceni konferencniho vlozneho do konce
kvetna. Napiste nam prosim, zda zaplatite plne vlozne (4100 Kc) nebo
zlevnene studentske vlozne (3300 Kc). Pokud pro platbu budete
potrebovat rozpis nakladu, posle vam ho Liba Dittrichova
<ldit@fyzika.fme.vutbr.cz>. Nezapomente, ze od vas pri registraci
budeme chtit kopii prikazu bance.

Poslete prosim odpovedi na tyto otazky nejlepe primo Libe Dittrichove,
ktera bude mit o vsem prehled a bez ktere by letni skolu udelat
neslo, jak se ostatne potvrzuje znovu a znovu pri organizaci letnich
skol. Pokud mi poslete kopii, budu rad.

A jeste poznamku: na letni skole bude moznost pujcit si kola, ale v
hotelu je jich k dispozici jen pet. S nasimi studenty planujeme prijet
na kolech a kdyz si take privezete vlastni, bude to vyborne, ten kraj
okolo je krasny a pro vylety na kolech jako stvoreny.

Dear friends,

 thank you for your interest in the international summer school on the "Role of physics in future applications: from nanotechnology to macroelectronics" to be held in Tri Studne, Czech Republic from June 10 to 14th. At the moment we have about 90 people registered for the school who come from 14 countries (mostly from the Czech Republic, but also from Austria, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Macedonia, Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and USA). We have a group of excellent speakers who confirmed their attendance and at the moment we are finishing the program timetable. We shall send the second announcement to you very soon, hopefully within a week or so. We have also made the budget plan for the school and so we can now let you know the school fee. We have made every effort to minimize the school fee to make the school accessible especially for young people.

 People asked us about the price, so here is the result:

 The regular school fee will be 160 USD for participants from abroad 4100 Kc for participants from the Czech Republic and thanks to our sponsors there will be also a discounted student fee 3300 Kc for the students from the Czech Republic.

 We are still negotiating about possible support for the student participants from abroad. The school fee includes the board and lodging in the conference hotel for the whole school duration. The details about the school payment will be given in the second announcement. The second announcement will be sent to you by e-mail and it will also be available on the school web page (www.fzu.cz/~iss). We will be looking forward to meeting you in Tri Studne!
